Annalisa, the summer song that is not a summer song: the single that challenges labels

After the success of her latest projects, Annalisa returns with the new unreleased track “Canzone estiva”, released today, March 13, by Atlantic/Warner Music Italy. The single continues the artistic journey started with the album “Ma io sono fuoco”, taking up its central symbol: fire, understood as creative spark, force of reaction, and capacity for transformation.

The song is a “layered love song”, developing in two directions: on one hand, love for a person, and on the other, love for one’s own audience. It is a visceral and explosive feeling, not always easy to interpret, but deeply connected to self-love and self-esteem. The lyrics indeed reflect on the weight of the gaze of others and public judgment, reminding how a person's image changes depending on who is observing.

From this arises the provocation contained in the line “Do you want me more as a nun or a porn star?”, a phrase that pokes fun at stereotypes and extreme judgments, emphasizing how the only possible path is to show oneself for who one truly is, without choosing a single definition.

The title itself plays with expectations: although called “Canzone estiva”, the track alternates between emptier and more intense moments and rhythmic explosions designed to create a strong dialogue between artist and audience during concerts.

Meanwhile, Annalisa is preparing to return live with “MA NOI SIAMO FUOCO – CAPITOLO II – Palasport 2026”, the second part of the tour that between November and December 2025 recorded great success with both the public and critics. With the new spring dates, the tour reaches 24 concerts in Italian arenas.

The tour is organized by Friends & Partners. In Messina, where the first date on May 12 is already sold out, a second appointment has been added on May 13 at the Palarescifina.

With 52 platinum discs and 17 gold, over 5 million certified copies, Annalisa continues to break records: she is the woman with the most singles in the Italian Top 10 (20 in total) and was the most listened to artist on digital stores in Italy in the past year.

Her latest album “But I Am Fire”, released in October 2025, debuted directly at number one on the sales chart, achieving gold certification and becoming the female album with the most #1s on the radio of the year. In just a few months, it also entered the Top 100 best-selling albums of 2025, alongside her previous project from 2023 “And Then We Ended Up in the Vortex”.

In November 2025, the artist also received two SIAE Awards for the song “Sincerely”, awarded as “Best Song – Dance Venues with Live Music” and as “Best Social Song in Italy”.
