Orietta Berti in concert in Santa Croce Camerina for Saint Joseph

Santa Croce Camerina is getting ready to celebrate. From March 13 to 15, 2026, the entire community of Santa Croce will take to the streets to honor the Holy Patriarch with a program that skillfully combines centuries-old devotion, gastronomic culture, and quality entertainment.

The highlight of the event is scheduled for the evening of Saturday, March 14: the icon of Italian music Orietta Berti will light up the square with a concert expected to draw an audience from all over the province of Ragusa and bring together multiple generations with her timeless classics and the latest radio hits.

The morning of Saturday will instead be dedicated to the local area and its excellences. At the Parco Urbano Fonte Paradiso, starting at 10:00 AM, the Pro Loco of Santa Croce, in collaboration with Gas Mazzarelli, will offer an immersion in wellness and flavors. On the agenda:

- Yoga in the park, a movement session led by Sara Fatuzzo (participants are asked to bring their own mat).

- The Bread of Saint Joseph, a tribute to the white art of Panificio Frangipane: visitors will be able to taste the traditional votive bread and watch a live demonstration of the making of “pettinato” bread, a true identity symbol of the festival.

The celebrations, which will conclude on March 15, represent the main event of the year for the town. The famous “dinners” of Saint Joseph, the adorned altars, and the smell of freshly baked bread will create a captivating atmosphere, celebrating the unbreakable bond between faith, community, and food sustainability.
