To Mexico Golden Temple and Ugo Re Capriata Award

The group from Mexico won the Golden Temple at the 68th International Folklore Festival as part of the 78th edition of the Almond Blossom Festival.

The Silver Temple and the Bronze Temple were awarded to the groups from Colombia and Georgia, respectively.

The “Ugo Re Capriata” award was given by the Agrigento section of the Sicilian Press Association to the group from Mexico, which swept the awards.

The “Gigi Casesa” award went to the group from Serbia, while the “Coast of Myth” award was given to the formation from Georgia.

Best music: Hungary; best costume: Ukraine; best dance: Bulgaria.

Valentina, from the Hungary group, was chosen as “Miss Spring” of the Almond Blossom Festival.

Bad weather characterized the last day to the point that the concluding show did not take place, as every year, in front of the Temple of Concordia, but inside the congress hall.
