Former courthouse in Modica, a summit has been called to decipher the future.

The theme of the city judicial presence is back in the spotlight. For next Tuesday, at 7:30 PM, a meeting has been called at the Municipality of Modica to assess the reopening strategies and the maintenance of the structure.

City officials and representatives from the local justice advocacy group will participate in the meeting: Mayor Maria Monisteri; City Council President Mariacristina Minardo; Hon. Ignazio Abbate; and delegates from the Pro Tribunal Committee of Modica.

The focus of the discussions will be on the coordination of upcoming actions, on both the legal and political fronts, to achieve the full restoration of the judicial offices.

A dossier that has fueled the claims of the Modica territory for years, aiming to ensure citizens have closer and more efficient access to justice.

The meeting on Tuesday evening represents a decisive step to unite the institutional and civic front in view of upcoming discussions at the regional and national levels.
