Modica, new board for "Lo scontrino sospeso"

"The most beautiful thing that can happen to you is to look the other in the eyes and recognize yourself."

With this spirit of sharing and common values, the Scontrino Sospeso association announces the renewal of its board of directors, the team tasked with continuing the path of solidarity and social commitment initiated in the area.

At the helm of the association, president Alessia Sudano has been reconfirmed, alongside vice president Sonia Giurtarella.

Valentina Baglieri, secretary, and Giorgio Moncada, treasurer, also remain in office.

The mandate of councilor Claudio Fidone continues as well.

To strengthen the leadership body, two new prominent figures join, bringing useful skills for the development of activities: Dr. Evelyn Terranova and lawyer Fabio Borrometi.

The new board will operate synergistically to activate structured procedures for project planning and fundraising, with the aim of sustaining and growing the various social projects promoted by the organization, further consolidating the solidarity fabric built over the years.

Among the new features is the introduction of "professional associates": members who will offer their specialized skills to the organization to qualify projects and contribute to the solidity of future initiatives.

The honorary member Francesco Zocco has also been confirmed, a symbolic and affectionate presence that embodies one of the most authentic values of participation and community.

A special thanks goes to the volunteers who, with commitment and generosity, daily support the activities of the association: Oriana Vindigni, Antonella Minardo, Carmela Basile, and Gloria Poidomani, constant and valuable presences in the solidarity initiatives in the area.

In six years of activity, Scontrino Sospeso has demonstrated determination and concreteness, becoming a reference point for many families and for those going through difficult times. It has promoted numerous initiatives, support interventions, and tangible aid projects, building over time a network composed of citizens, volunteers, and businesses.

Particularly significant has been the ability to intervene promptly in emergencies, from supporting displaced populations to decisive and immediate action in favor of the community of Niscemi, as a testament to a constant attention to the real needs of the territories.

This path has consolidated Scontrino Sospeso as a solid, recognized, and deeply rooted reality, capable of translating solidarity into concrete actions and generating a significant social impact.

The renewed board is preparing to face the new phase with enthusiasm, responsibility, and a spirit of service, with the aim of further growing the association and strengthening its reference role in the field of solidarity and civic engagement.
