Scicli, free shuttle buses for the San Giuseppe ride

The Cavalcade of Saint Joseph, one of the most anticipated traditional events in Scicli, will be even more accessible this year. On the occasion of the folkloric event scheduled for today, Saturday, March 14, the Municipal Administration has activated a free shuttle bus service to allow residents, tourists, and visitors to easily reach the city center.

The shuttle, managed by the company Saie Srl of Syracuse, which also oversees the blue parking lines in the city, will be operational all day from 8 AM to 12 AM, connecting contrada Zagarone with corso Garibaldi, round trip.

The initiative will allow for easy parking in the outer suburbs and comfortable movement towards the heart of the event to witness the spectacular parade of horses adorned with violets, ridden by knights in traditional Sicilian peasant costumes. Citizens are encouraged to limit the use of cars to promote smoother traffic, even on the afternoon of Sunday, March 15, when the religious procession of the Saint is scheduled.
