Victory, an exhibition on the Holy Shroud has been inaugurated.

On Friday, the Basilica of San Giovanni Battista inaugurated the traveling exhibition "The Encounter", a multidisciplinary exhibition dedicated to the Holy Shroud, which combines faith, science, and art.

The initiative attracted a large audience, offering moments of in-depth exploration of the historical, scientific, and spiritual value of the Shroud, which has been an object of study and devotion for centuries. Among the most notable speakers were Mons. Giuseppe La Placa, Bishop of the Diocese of Ragusa, Don Salvatore Converso, parish priest, Dr. Federico Valle from the International Center of Studies on the Shroud (CISS) and Museum, and Prof. Emanuele Martinez, Superior of the Congregation of the Holy Crucifix.

Promoted by the parish community of San Giovanni Battista and the Congregation of the Holy Crucifix of Vittoria, in collaboration with the Museum of the Shroud and the International Center of Studies on the Shroud of Turin, the exhibition dedicated to the Shroud will remain open to the public until Sunday, March 22, with free admission.

Visitors will be able to admire a faithful reproduction of the sacred Shroud, accompanied by explanatory panels and scientific and artistic reconstructions, useful tools for deepening one of the most fascinating mysteries of the Christian tradition.

"It is a gift that the Lord wanted to leave us", recalled Don Converso. The final day, Sunday, March 22, includes the celebration of Holy Mass at 6 PM and, following that, Eucharistic adoration at 7 PM: a moment that seals a journey that is both cultural and spiritual, offering the local community and those who wish to approach the knowledge of the Shroud an opportunity for thoughtful and conscious reflection.
