Untracked meats, seizure of a quintal in a butcher shop

The carabinieri of the Anti-Fraud and Health Unit of Palermo conducted a hygienic and health inspection in a butcher shop in the city, finding serious irregularities that led to seizures and administrative fines. Following the findings, the carabinieri proceeded to seize over one hundred kilograms of food products without traceability, including anatomical cuts and meat preparations, and the owner of the business was notified of a 3,500 euro administrative fine.
