Closed for a day 25 km of the Catania-Syracuse highway and an interchange

On Tuesday, March 10, from 9 AM to 6 PM, the section of the Catania-Syracuse highway between the Augusta interchange and the Catania North Industrial Zone interchange (between km 25.142 and 0.100) will be closed to traffic. At the same time, the entry and exit ramps of the Lentini interchange (km 11.500) will also be closed.

The closure - informs Anas - is necessary following a request received by Anas from the Permanent Commission for Tunnels established at Ansfisa (National Agency for the Safety of Railways and Road and Highway Infrastructures), which will conduct inspections inside the San Demetrio and San Fratello tunnels, both located along the Catania-Syracuse highway.

The alternative route for those coming from Syracuse via the SS114 will be ensured through appropriate signage.
