After the Chamber, the Senate also approves the majority resolution on Iran
With 94 votes in favor: commitments on European defense, bases granted to the US, and support for Gulf countries
The Senate Chamber approved with 94 votes in favor, 39 against, and 8 abstentions the center-right resolution on Iran.
This is the same document approved in the Chamber which includes commitments on the defense of European countries, military bases granted to the U.S., and support for Gulf countries.
The text proposed by Pd, M5s, and Avs was excluded, while that of Iv was deemed absorbed.
Also in Montecitorio, the Chamber had rejected the resolution of the 'broad field' and approved individual points from the documents presented by Azione, Iv, and Più Europa.
