Elections in Enna and Agrigento: the center-left has chosen its candidates while remaining united. Stalemate in Messina

In Enna, the Dems have formalized Vladimiro Crisafulli, while in Agrigento, the candidate in the running is Michele Sodano, proposed by Controcorrente.

It is in Messina that the situation is more complicated. Tug of war within the Pd between Alessandro and Antonella Russo (only namesakes). The Dems held a meeting of the provincial leadership in the afternoon that did not resolve the issues regarding the candidacy.

The meeting lasted just over an hour, the center-left parties have taken 48 hours to decide. Beyond the names proposed in the three provincial capitals that will vote in the spring, the political element, coalition members point out, is that all stakeholders from the progressive area participated in this evening's table, despite some tensions in recent days: Pd, M5s, Controcorrente, Avs, and Italia Viva.
