The Italian Senhit, with Boy George, wins the San Marino Song Contest 2026: now at the Eurovision in Vienna
The triumph with "Superstar", co-written by Boy George, in an evening hosted by Simona Ventura: 21 finalists, special awards, and international guests
The Italian Senhit feat (stage name of Senhit Zadik Zadik) and Boy George (co-writer of the song, producer, and with a vocal cameo) won with the song Superstar the final of the San Marino Song Contest 2026, which thus selected the representative of the independent Republic at the Eurovision scheduled from May 12 to 16 in Vienna.
In the final, hosted live by Simona Ventura (also creative director) at the Teatro Nuovo di Dogana in San Marino, the winner was chosen by a jury chaired by Federica Gentile and composed of Roberto Sergio (General Director of Rai and Rtv San Marino, which organizes the event), Mario Andrea Ettorre Siae Marketing Director, musicians Massimo Zanotti and Beppe D'Onghia.
There were 21 finalists (ten from the semifinals, 10 big names entered with wild cards plus one San Marino contestant) representing 14 countries. According to the jury's votes, Kelly Joyce (France) with Oh La La placed second; Paolo Belli with Bellissima came third, and tied for fourth were Maya Azucena (United States) with My Sin and Inis Neziri with Aurora (Albania).
Among others, the quality jury award (composed of Morgan, Iva Zanicchi, and Red Ronnie) was awarded to Dolcenera, who with My Love also won the Siae award, while the press award "Ludovico Di Meò" was won by the duo of Italian artists Pellegrina Pibigas with Il giorno che.
Guests of the evening included Elettra Lamborghini, Tommy Cash, Al Bano, and Cristiano Malgioglio, who also received an award for his artistic journey.
