Thirty-seven migrants, including 11 women, landed overnight in Lampedusa after the rubber boat they were traveling on was rescued by the guardia costiera's Cp319 patrol boat.

They are Somali and Sudanese who reported having set sail from Zouara in Libya.

Everyone was provided with a life jacket at the time of boarding.

To eight of the individuals who arrived at molo Favarolo, after an initial health triage, scabies was diagnosed.

At the hotspot in contrada Imbriacola, there are currently 68 guests.
