Fake doctor and influencer administered botox and fillers at home: surprised and reported by Nas

The Carabinieri of the NAS in Catania reported a 40-year-old woman for unauthorized practice of the healthcare profession and administration of unauthorized medications. The woman, although not being a doctor, advertised aesthetic medicine treatments on social networks, boasting a following of over 10,000 followers. The investigative activity began with monitoring the suspect's profiles, where interventions involving botox and fillers were promoted. Through the analysis of posts and observation services in the area, the military identified the operational base: a private residence in the city of Catania, lacking any health authorization. The Carabinieri raided the apartment just as the self-proclaimed professional was about to perform an injection on a client, who was already lying on a massage table and treated with anesthetic cream. Some patients, identified on the spot, had just completed facial treatments.

During the search, medical equipment and devices were seized; packaged medications and vials of botox (some already used); a diary with appointments, a price list, and material for photo shoots used for social content.
