"Finally home". With a very long post in her stories on her Instagram profile, singer and rapper BigMama published eleven stories to recount the ordeal she experienced in Dubai after her vacation in the Maldives and rejects accusations of having received preferential treatment. The artist emphasizes that she has paid for everything out of her own pocket, from the new ticket to the taxi to reach Dubai airport.

This is a way to respond to accusations circulating online that, as a public figure, she would have received assistance from the Italian government.

Yesterday, in addition, upon hearing the news of her return, the leader of Futuro Nazionale Roberto Vannacci, during a press conference held at the Foreign Press Association in Rome, stated: "The duty of every government is to protect its citizens. But every citizen is responsible for their own actions. If Big Mama went on vacation in a high-risk area, she will have to face the consequences; she will be rescued and will pay the cost of the rescue".

The singer, upon arriving in Dubai, had asked, in a video on social media, for the Italian government's attention to the many compatriots stranded due to the Israel and U.S. conflict against Iran.

"I am an Italian citizen residing in Milan and I pay taxes. I also have the right to ask for help if needed", she wrote, also reiterating her connection to the country: "I have never said I hate Italy, I love it to death", replied the singer from Avellino.

In her stories, BigMama also recounts the most difficult moments of the incident. The journey began at 10:15 AM on February 28 from Malé airport, in the Maldives, where the artist was on vacation.

However, during the landing phase in Dubai, the plane began to circle over the Emirates because the stopover was closed. The flight was then diverted to Fujairah. From there, passengers were transferred by bus to a hotel in Dubai. The singer recounted that she initially could not connect to the internet and only understood the seriousness of the situation once she arrived at the hotel.

"The first thing I heard upon entering the room was a missile intercepted above our hotel," she explained, adding that she then decided to stay in the lobby with the other Italians she met during those days.

But the lengthy outburst was also an opportunity to thank those who were close to her. In particular, the artist expressed gratitude to the Italian ambassador to the Emirates, Lorenzo Fanara, for the assistance to the Italians present in the hotel, and to journalist Vincenzo Nigro, who took action to connect them.
