Trump calls on allies to protect the Strait of Hormuz as alarm rises over missiles from Iran towards Israel.

The latest announcement, in chronological order, from Donald Trump, in a post on the Truth platform, is about the Strait of Hormuz: «Many countries, especially those affected by the attempt of Iran to close the Strait of Hormuz, will send warships - in collaboration with the United States of America - to keep the Strait open and safe».

He adds: «It is hoped that China, France, Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and other countries affected by this artificial restriction send ships to the area, so that the Strait of Hormuz ceases to represent a threat from a nation that has been completely decapitated».

Meanwhile, in Tel Aviv and in central Israel, a new alert has been triggered after the IDF detected a missile launch from Iran directed towards the country.

And Britain is considering a range of options after Donald Trump said that several countries will send warships to keep the Strait of Hormuz open, according to the British Ministry of Defense, as reported by Sky News.

A spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense stated: «As we have already said, we are currently discussing with our allies and partners a range of options to ensure the safety of navigation in the region».
