The meeting of the parents of the "children of the woods" took place on the very day the deadline expires for filing an appeal in the Court of Appeals against the order that, ten days ago, mandated the removal of Catherine from the foster home where her three children are hosted and the simultaneous transfer - which has not yet occurred - to another facility. 

Meanwhile, tensions remain high between the family's lawyers and some representatives involved in this case, such as social workers. «Veruska D'Angelo? I don't see a social worker. Have you seen one around?». With these words, Marco Femminella, one of the family's two lawyers, comments on the position of the professional, with whom there has long been a climate of high tension, culminating ten days ago with the removal of mother Catherine from the foster home where her three children are hosted.

«All this media overexposure has become a problem, it is no longer sustainable» - added the lawyer as he left his office in Chieti -. Those poor kids are besieged, they are already in a difficult situation. Speaking about the arrival, tomorrow at the Juvenile Court of L'Aquila, of the inspectors from the Ministry of Justice, Femminella emphasized that «this is a matter concerning the ministry and the court». «I am not interested» - he explained -.
