Agrigento, for seven years he sexually abused a girl: he goes to prison

An 80-year-old man has been taken to prison in Agrigento after being sentenced to 8 years and 8 months for sexually abusing a girl, a family member, for about 7 years: since the victim was 11 years old.

The man was arrested in execution of a prison order from the Brescia court, by officers of the Mobile Squad of the Agrigento Police Headquarters.

The retiree had been convicted of aggravated sexual violence in complicity by the judge for preliminary hearings, a sentence confirmed by the Brescia Court of Appeal.

The investigation originated from a report made by the victim. The girl, now of legal age, recounted the repeated episodes of violence she suffered during the summer vacations spent in Sicily with her family. The abuses also occurred during the winter months when the man - a close relative - happened to stay in Brescia, at his home.
