Three cell phones and a four-gigabyte USB stick. Along with the 90 thousand euros in cash, this is the result of the searches at the home and offices of Salvatore Iacolino. Now the seized material from the former health manager - accused by the Palermo Prosecutor's Office of external competition to the mafia association and corruption - will be analyzed on Wednesday morning. The irreplaceable technical assessments by the personnel of the Central Operational Service (Stai) will take place starting at 9 AM on Wednesday, March 18. 

The lawyers of the powerful former director of the Health Department have announced that they will file a motion to request the revocation of the seizure of the cell phones - an iPhone 16, an iPhone 13, and another smartphone in addition to the USB stick - and the cash. 

On Thursday, it will be time for the analysis of the smartphones - also in this case three - seized from Carmelo Vetro, the mafioso who allegedly managed to infiltrate regional contracts after corrupting Iacolino himself and the Infrastructure Department director Giancarlo Teresi. Only the defense attorneys and any appointed technical consultants will be able to participate in the technical assessments.
