Ispica, the engines are revving: Pierenzo Muraglie also runs for office.
After Cafisi with Brothers of Italy, it is the turn of the former mayor close to the positions of Hon. Ignazio Abbate, a representative of the Christian Democracy.

With a direct appeal to the community, Pierenzo Muraglie has officially announced his candidacy for mayor of Ispica, presenting it as the natural continuation of a path of dedication to the territory, never interrupted.
The former mayor reiterated that he has never loosened his bond with the city, even when away from institutional spotlight: “I deeply love our city, which, even in these years, I have never stopped serving. Today I am ready for another stage of this common journey: to start building again, together with you, a city that puts the man, each citizen, each one of us, at the center.”
The heart of his administrative proposal for the Ispica of tomorrow shuns technicalities to embrace a social and solidarity dimension. The idea is of a city not reduced to infrastructure, but understood as a living organism capable of protecting its inhabitants, with constant attention to decorum, daily needs, and urban dignity.
Among the priorities indicated are investment in new generations and growth spaces, along with a long-term perspective that safeguards social cohesion. “I want a city that educates, that designs the future without leaving anyone behind,” the candidate emphasized.
Aware of the challenges awaiting the administration, Muraglie concluded his speech with clear words: “I need you. And you can trust me.”
