Albatro, Coppa Italia celebration and return to success: Chiaravalle defeated 26-24

The Coppa Italia won in Riccione, displayed prominently, and the awards ceremony lit up the festive afternoon at Albatro. To symbolically hand over the trophy to the club's history was Coni delegate Silvana Gambuzza, alongside president Vito Laudani and the ownership represented by the Di Stefano family: a solemn prologue, before the embrace of the public and yet another memorable chapter.

Because in addition to the celebration of the “ribbon” in front of their fans, the Albatro has also found their smile in the league, achieving a valuable victory upon resuming after the break related to the Romagna event. Against the Marchigiani of Chiaravalle, it ended 26-24, after a match that was more complicated than expected and played on a knife-edge until the last moments.

A hard-fought victory, probably also due to a mental issue: the feeling is that the Albatro, at least at times, still had their mind on the post Coppa Italia celebrations. It resulted in a competitive match, with the guests able to stay close to the score and apply pressure until the final whistle.

To avoid a heart-stopping finish, a crucial save at the most delicate moment: Salah's intervention that extinguished the last opportunity and spared the team and the audience the last ten seconds of tension. Then the explosion: applause, chants and a perfect afternoon halfway, between the trophy just lifted and two points that matter.

The Albatro thus restarts: with a cup to celebrate and a league in which to continue pushing, aware that the celebration is sweet, but the season does not wait.
