Modica is one step away from promotion to Serie D.
All the combinations useful for the team of Pitino and Gugliotta for today's match against Leonzio in Scordia.
Modica protagonist in Eccellenza Group B
The finish line is now within reach: the checkered flag is waving just a few meters away, the pursuers are far behind, and a perfect straightaway – or a mistake from the opponent – will be enough for the championship to be secured.
Modica Calcio is preparing to experience a high-stakes Sunday, with promotion to Serie D truly just a step away. The team led by Raciti has worked intensively during the week to present themselves at their best against Scordia in a match against Leonzio, a team in the midst of the playoff battle.
On this day, more than ever, Valenca and his teammates could achieve their goal even without winning the full points: if the second-placed team, Vittoria, fails to secure three points, the mathematics would still confirm the success of Raciti's group, crowning a journey that began in August and has been conducted with great consistency.
However, the home team will not be mere spectators. The race for the playoffs is extremely tight: five teams packed into four points, ready to compete for access to the next phase, which will award two spots to this quintet, with the other two positions currently held by Vittoria and Avola.
An absolutely high-level championship, in which Modica has imposed its own rhythm, the result of meticulous work both on and off the field: determination from the ownership, professionalism of an experienced staff, and the daily commitment of a group of men who have managed to provide genuine emotions to their supporters.
