William Viali, an enthusiasm generator who transforms teams and results

Flexibility and empathy are two of the most relevant characteristics in the professional background of William Viali: in his “repertoire” there are many modules but above all, beyond the static nature of numbers, many ideas to match the characteristics of the team, to best enhance the individual traits of “his” players, with whom he naturally establishes strong and authentic personal relationships.

Viali is a well-trained coach shaped by the always valuable “apprenticeship” and appreciated for his results, especially for the two achievements in Cosenza, both accomplished as a substitute: in 2023, taking over from Dionigi, he managed to secure a first survival in Serie B, through the playouts; in 2024, stepping in after the dismissal of Fabio Caserta, in addition to achieving a comfortable stay, he succeeded in bringing the Silani from fourteenth to ninth place, just four points away from the playoffs for promotion to A.

Also important is the work done during the growth process over two and a half years in Cesena, culminating in a third place in Group B in Serie C in 2021/22.
