The Tar has rejected the appeal to reopen the away trip for the fans of Catania to the 1,450 ticket holders who purchased tickets for tonight's match in Benevento. The appeal with urgent procedure was announced by president Ross Pelligra after the ban was issued close to the match and after supporters had organized not only by buying tickets but also train and plane tickets, blocking hotels. In short, a significant economic damage for which many supporters are considering turning to Federconsumatori, beyond the refund of the tickets already initiated.

Just hours before the match starts, the fans not residing in Sicily who purchased tickets in the away section number 200. The total spectators will be over 10,000. Those who remain in Catania will be able to watch the match on the big screen being set up at the Massimino stadium. Catania's executives will also be present, led by owner Pelligra, who has decided to not travel in a show of solidarity towards their supporters.
