Weddings for Mario Calabresi in Milan: he married colleague Silvia Nucini

The journalist Mario Calabresi got married in Milan to his partner Silvia Nucini, who is also a journalist. The ceremony was officiated by the mayor of the city Giuseppe Sala. The publications had appeared in the Official Register of the Municipality of Milan at the end of November 2025. The ceremony took place in the mirror hall of Palazzo Reale, in the city center.

Mario Calabresi, son of Commissioner Luigi Calabresi who was killed in Milan on May 17, 1972, has been director of Stampa and Repubblica and is CEO and editorial director of Chora Media, the company specialized in podcast production of which he is also co-founder.

Calabresi is one of the names frequently mentioned as a possible candidate of the center-left for mayor of Milan in the Municipal elections of spring 2027, when the outgoing mayor Sala will not be able to run again.
