Theft of gold and jewelry in the home of elderly people while they dine downstairs: thief escapes undisturbed

They were having lunch, a Sunday like any other. The table set on the ground floor, while on the upper floor a thief was ransacking everything he could: gold, jewelry, and cash. This happened in Pietraperzia, in the province of Enna, on the first of March. The incident was reported to the carabinieri by the daughter of the robbed couple, she is 73 years old and he is 92. What happened was captured by surveillance cameras that recorded the thief acting with his face uncovered. This would not be the first case of theft with these methods in the town.
