The Municipality of Ragusa continues its path of strengthening its workforce with new permanent hires. "From 2024 to today" – declares the mayor, Peppe Cassì – 20 workers have been stabilized in our Municipality: 8 care workers, 7 educators, 1 administrative support staff, and 4 technicians initially arrived through the Pnrr. This figure includes the 4 educators and 2 care workers who this week have become an integral part of the Staff of the Municipality of Ragusa: welcome! These numbers certify the constant commitment to enhance municipal services through qualified human resources, in contrast to the gradual depletion of staff that our Municipality has experienced for too many years.
Satisfaction is also expressed by the councilor for Personnel and Public Education, Catia Pasta: "This year, we wanted to provide continuity to the work of educators and care workers who have been working in our Administration for some time. The municipal nurseries are where children develop their skills from the very first months of life, which is why we are convinced that competence and continuity of operators are important. Stabilizing the staff indeed allows us to guarantee the quality of service through personnel who have already gained experience and knowledge of specific needs. It is a process that cannot be applied to everyone all at once, but that gradually involves every sector of public activity in order to enhance and at the same time provide stability to the workers."
