Maintenance of roads between Grotte, Favara and Comitini: the contract for the provincial roads has been signed

The maintenance for the battered road network of the province is underway. The Free Municipal Consortium of Agrigento has officially signed the contract for an important package of extraordinary maintenance interventions that will affect four key arteries of the territory.

The contract was awarded to the company Omnia Progetti srl from San Giovanni Gemini. The plan, with a total value of 1,037,773 euros (funded with state funds), aims to remove hazardous conditions and ensure safety on road sections with high traffic density.

The roads involved in the restructuring will be: SP 16 (Grotte-Firrio-Cantarella); SP 51 (Grotte-Comitini); SP 85 (Grotte-Favara); SP 3A (Bivio Caldare-Favara).

The construction sites, coordinated by the Road Infrastructure Sector, must be completed within 365 days from the start of the work. This long-awaited intervention promises to significantly improve connections between the municipalities of Grotte, Favara, and Comitini, restoring safety to commuters and local businesses.
