Messina Sud: butcher shop sanctioned for hygiene deficiencies

Yesterday morning, the carabinieri of the Messina Sud company, with the assistance of specialized personnel from the carabinieri labor inspection unit of Messina and the Nas of Catania, were engaged in a series of inspections of public establishments located in the villages of the southern area and in some municipalities of the Ionian belt of the Peloritano capital, in order to verify compliance with hygienic and health regulations to protect consumers. During the operation, the owner of a butcher shop was administratively sanctioned: widespread hygienic and health deficiencies were found at his point of sale, and the failure to implement self-control procedures resulted in administrative fines of 3,000 euros.

Additionally, the military also carried out a series of preventive activities, checking various individuals subject to restrictive measures of various types and implementing checkpoints aimed at preventing predatory crimes and those related to drug trafficking, as well as ensuring compliance with the Highway Code to protect the safety of motorists and pedestrians, checking dozens of vehicles and identifying drivers and passengers.
