She had become the true nightmare of the residents of a large area in the center of Palermo, but her trail of damage was interrupted thanks to the investigations by the police officers of the "Libertà" Police Station. A 58-year-old woman has been identified as the alleged perpetrator of a series of vandalism acts against numerous parked cars on the street.

According to what was reconstructed by the investigators of the investigative section, the woman always acted with the same modus operandi: taking advantage of the darkness or moments of low traffic, she targeted the tires of parked cars, systematically puncturing or slashing them. The investigation began from the numerous reports and complaints filed by citizens, exasperated by the continuous damage suffered.

At the time of her arrest, the 58-year-old — already known to law enforcement for numerous police records — was found in possession of a sharp chisel and a pair of pliers, tools likely used for the vandalism raids. For this reason, in addition to the charges for the damages, the woman has been investigated in a state of freedom for the unjustified possession of burglary tools. Investigations also revealed that the woman was already subject to the preventive measure of an oral warning issued by the Questore of Palermo.
