Centro revisioni sospeso a Misterbianco: annullate le revisioni e avviate verifiche

The control activity of the State Police is intensifying in the provincial territory to counteract behaviors that threaten the safety of citizens, now focusing on vehicle inspection centers. Following recent checks dedicated to car dismantlers, the agents of the Traffic Police Department "Eastern Sicily", in close collaboration with the staff of the Catania Civil Motorization, have initiated a series of targeted inspections. The main objective is to verify the regular possession of permits, strict compliance with safety measures, and adherence to road traffic regulations, while also protecting fair competition for compliant operators.

During one of these interventions, the judicial police team of the Catania Department inspected an inspection center located in the area of Misterbianco, uncovering several serious anomalies. The irregularities found prompted the Polstrada agents to order the immediate suspension of the activity of the inspected company.

Alongside the suspension of the operation, the law enforcement agencies proceeded with the cancellation of the inspections issued for the vehicles examined that same day. These vehicles, in order to be regularly readmitted to road circulation, will necessarily have to undergo an extraordinary inspection. Finally, in order to ensure a complete verification of the conditions of the facility, an official report has been sent to the Service for Prevention and Safety in the Workplace for their relevant checks.
