It is not just an unplanned lesson, but an investment in life. The Scientific and Linguistic High School "Leonardo" in Agrigento confirms its role as a hub of solidarity: the branches on via Dante and via Platone hosted a morning of awareness promoted by the ADAS (Autonomous Blood Donors Association) that shook the consciences of the students.

The goal was clear: to transform the abstract culture of giving into a concrete commitment. The response? A success beyond expectations. A total of 95 students have already signed up for official availability for pre-donation, the first fundamental step to enter the vast network of donors. This figure is not just a number, but a sign of active citizenship in a land that cyclically suffers from blood shortages.

The initiative was coordinated by Dina Settembrino, head of ADAS, along with Massimiliano Ballacchino and volunteer Silvia Costa. "Seeing so many young people ready to lend a hand is proof that the future is in good hands," the representatives commented, visibly moved by the audience's attention.

Crucial was the synergy with the school: the success of the event bears the signature of the principal, Patrizia Pilato, who has always been at the forefront of combining education and social commitment. In an era often accused of indifference, the students of "Leonardo" chose to disprove prejudices, demonstrating that the sense of community is more alive than ever among the school desks.
