Como wins while suffering: 2-1 against Cagliari and temporary tie with Roma for fourth place. Goals by Baturina and Da Cunha, with the fleeting equalizer from Esposito midway through the second half.

Severe punishment for the rossoblù, who nonetheless put in a generous performance and, pending tomorrow's matches, still have a minimal margin of three points above the relegation zone.

A blocked start for a quarter of an hour, then the advantage for the lariano team: a series of rebounds in the Sardinian area, a sluggish defense, and Baturina quick to slot the ball into the net for 1-0 for Fabregas' team.

At the half-hour mark, the islanders grow: Palestra finds a gap and serves Sulemana in the center, who, however, misses the connection with a tempting ball.

Not very high rhythms and careful management from Como until halftime, marred by the exit of Perrone due to a thigh injury; Vojvoda comes on in his place.

In the second half, Cagliari finds more space and at 56' strikes: a right-side thrust from Palestra, cross collected by Obert and sent back into the center for the winning header by Esposito.

The equalizer ignites the match. Immediate reaction from the Comaschi with Nico Paz, who frees himself at the edge and shoots from almost certain range: Ze Pedro is providential in blocking.

The visitors believe, but at 76' the lariano team retakes the lead: Da Cunha cuts in from the right and unleashes a perfect left-footed shot that Caprile cannot intervene on.

Como's final defense and a Sardinian assault, very close to 2-2 with Adopo on an assist from Trepy: Butez saves with a dive. Six minutes of stoppage time are not enough for Cagliari to rectify the result.

"When I received the ball, I felt like I wanted to aim for the goal; I would say that trying to shoot was the right choice." Thus Lucas Da Cunha, midfielder for Como, speaking to Dazn after the 2-1 victory, which came thanks to his brilliance: "I am very happy, I felt I could score today. A difficult match, on a field where it is tough to earn three points."

Alongside him, Jesus Rodriguez outlined the seasonal goal: "Our goal is to play match by match, if we reach the Champions League at the end of the year, we will be satisfied. Fabregas told us that this victory was important, despite a complex opponent."
