Monterosso, free prevention day reserved for women promoted by the municipal Avis

On the occasion of the International Women's Day, the Avis municipal of Monterosso Almo promoted a free prevention day reserved for blood donors.

Last Friday, at the social headquarters in vicolo Silva, thirty women underwent breast examinations conducted by Dr. Valentina Sallemi, with the assistance of Chiara Corallo.

The president Giuseppe Schembari, the medical director Antonio Galia, and the members of the board and the secretariat expressed their gratitude to the two professionals for their availability and expertise.

“With this initiative – declared Schembari – we want to thank those who donate blood and, at the same time, offer concrete opportunities for prevention. It is a way to take care of oneself and others, strengthening a supportive and responsible community.”
