The Carabinieri have put an end to a drug dealing operation at the home of a local 47-year-old. The operation began during a simple notification of an administrative act, turning into a raid that led to the arrest for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.

The soldiers of the Campobello di Mazara Station arrived at the man's home to deliver an administrative document. As soon as the door was opened, a strong smell of narcotic substance filled the air, while drug residues and packaging materials for doses emerged on the entrance furniture. This prompted the Carabinieri to immediately proceed with a home search.

Supported by the Palermo Villagrazia Dog Unit, the agents searched the entire house. The result was striking: half a kilo of marijuana and almost 1 kg of hashish hidden, a precision scale, various materials for dividing the doses, and over 4,300 euros in cash, all seized. These unequivocal pieces of evidence confirmed the drug dealing activity.
