What will be the best fried gnocco from Modena? In Naples, where is the best sausage with friarielli eaten, and in Milan, where can one taste the best cassoeula? These are some of the questions from the food world that Joe Bastianich will try to answer in the new episodes of Foodish, the original production from TV8 signed by Banijay Italia, premiering on March 9, from Monday to Friday at 8:30 PM.

After the success of last season, in this new journey, always accompanied by Vittorio and his overwhelming charm, Joe takes us in search of new trends in the food world, leveraging his deep knowledge of food and the restaurant industry. Joseph Bastianich, known as Joe, born in New York on September 17, 1968, is an entrepreneur, television personality (for years a judge on the Masterchef show in America and Italy, from the first edition for eight years), and a singer with American citizenship and Italian roots, active in the restaurant sector.

Joe travels far and wide across Italy accompanied by a guest from the entertainment world, different in each episode, an expert on the city where the challenge takes place or the dish in competition, who shares with Joe the task of declaring the best dish of a specific recipe or category.

Among the guests of this new season are Iva Zanicchi, Antonio Orefice, Enzo Iacchetti, Big Mama, Benedetta Parodi, New Martina, Soleil Sorge, Massimo Ceccherini, Cristina Donadio, Isolde Kostner, and Deborah Compagnoni.

Joe and the episode's guest taste four of the best proposals of the same recipe in four different restaurants, assigning a score from 0 to 10. The four restaurateurs, competitors of the episode, then challenge each other in a series of direct elimination duels. The first to enter the competition wears the Foodish apron by right, which they can keep after each victory or must surrender to their challenger in case of defeat. A competition without appeal, where every match is a do-or-die. At the end of the last challenge, whoever still has the apron on will win the title of "most Foodish," a commemorative plaque, and the right to proudly display the official Foodish sticker in their establishment.
