Mayor Caputo has assigned the delegations after a reset a few days ago
Municipality of Belpasso
The Mayor of Belpasso, Carlo Caputo, today proceeded with the assignment of delegations to the currently serving Assessors, pending the final composition of the Municipal Council and the appointment of the delegated Councilors.
The delegations are distributed as follows: Gaetano Campisi, Deputy Mayor, has been assigned Digital Transition, Social Services, Stray Animals, and relations with the Municipal Council.
Tony Di Mauro will oversee Culture, Tourism, Popular Traditions, Museums, Associations, Taxes and Budget, Maintenance of Public Green Spaces.
Simone Apa will be responsible for Urban Planning, Industrial Zone, Youth Policies, and Cemetery.
The Mayor has chosen to retain the delegation for Public Works, in addition to all other unassigned delegations. This choice is motivated by the desire to directly oversee ongoing activities and the planning of public works. “I am providing all the necessary time for any political discussions and clarifications, but I cannot jeopardize the administrative activity. For this reason, I am moving forward with the Council while leaving some positions open. I have decided to hold the delegation for Public Works to fully follow all activities: in addition to the planning of works, I find it useful to directly oversee all related activities as well,” stated Mayor Caputo.
