Car transformed into a bar in Trapani: cocktails served to minors, €16,000 fine and vehicle seizure

The car turned into a traveling bar. In front of the open rear door, a line of very young people, inside the improvised bartender quick to prepare alcoholic cocktails without much economic pretension, a proximity bar with affordable prices, right in the heart of the city nightlife.

It happened in Trapani on Saturday night. The bar on four wheels was discovered in the area of the port, the car parked under the statue of Garibaldi. The financial police did not overlook the scene and approached, discovering that among the customers there were mainly minors, apart from the fact that the commercial activity was completely illegal.

Inside that car spirits, beers, ice, glasses, and straws, full competition against regular commercial establishments, without much concern for the degradation all around caused by the abandonment of glasses and bottles.

The financial police caught the mobile “bartender” while he was busy selling a cocktail made on the spot to a sixteen-year-old boy. He will now have to pay a fine of 16 thousand euros, goods and vehicle seized.
