Comiso, work has begun on the renovation of the Town Hall facade

The renovation and safety measures for the Municipality facade facing piazza Fonte Diana have been initiated.

The works include the complete restoration of the cornice, which has deteriorated and is therefore at risk, the removal of the aerial electrical connection nodes, exposed to the elements and potentially dangerous in case of rain or strong winds, as well as the cleaning and recovery of the stone on the entire facade.

At the same time, and at no cost to the Municipality, Enel will carry out the necessary excavations for the burial of the electrical cables.

The total cost of the works is approximately 150 thousand euros, covered by regional funding.
