Ispica, the attacker: "Hello police, I killed my partner." But the woman was still alive

In recent days, the State Police has arrested a 45-year-old Tunisian citizen on suspicion of attempted femicide.

The intervention was triggered after a call to the Emergency Number 112 reporting a suspected homicide.

According to the reconstruction by the investigators, the man allegedly called 112 claiming to have killed his partner, a 46-year-old woman.

The first units that arrived in Ispica found the woman unconscious and in serious condition.

Emergency services were immediately alerted, and the victim was transported to Modica hospital, where doctors diagnosed her with a prognosis of 45 days.

The 45-year-old was taken to the Modica Police Station and, after the formalities carried out by the investigators of the Mobile Squad of the Ragusa Police Headquarters and the Modica Public Security Police Station, he was arrested and transferred to the Ragusa prison, at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Ragusa.
