90,000 euros in cash were seized from manager Iacolino during searches in Palermo and Agrigento.

During the searches of the homes of manager Salvatore Iacolino, investigated for external complicity in mafia association and aggravated corruption, 90 thousand euros in cash were found.

According to the prosecutors in Palermo, Iacolino, who was appointed general director of the Policlinico of Messina last week, would have been at the disposal of Favara boss Carmelo Vetro.

The prosecutors in Palermo Bruno Brucoli, Gianluca De Leo, and Maria Pia Ticino and deputy prosecutor Vito di Giorgio ordered widespread searches in order to seize computers, smartphones, tablets, pen drives, hard disks. Among the objectives is also to make forensic copies of the chats, in search of further information useful to the investigation. 

Today, investigators knocked on the door of Palermo where Iacolino lives during the periods he is working in the capital, in Agrigento where he resides, and at the offices in Piazza Ottavio Ziino in Palermo where the Health Department is located and where Iacolino worked as a manager in strategic planning until just a few days ago.
