A long-awaited and fundamental signal for our productive fabric. With these words, Honorable Ignazio Abbate comments on the approval of the D.D.G. n. 531 of 03/03/2026, which officially confirms the list of companies eligible for the contribution for the prompt reactivation of economic activities affected by the disastrous events.
From the analysis of the regional provision, a significant fact emerges for the Ibleo territory: there are 62 companies in the province of Ragusa that have successfully passed the review and are beneficiaries of support of 20 thousand euros, immediately usable and intended exclusively for the restart after the natural disaster.
“The fact that as many as 62 productive entities in the province of Ragusa have been admitted to financing – explains Hon. Abbate – confirms how urgent it was to intervene to restore the damage caused by mud and debris. However, with great concern, I must point out that to date none of these 62 companies have received the financial aid. And the reason is simple: the documentation from the Ibleo municipalities is incomplete. A crucial technical aspect provided for by Art. 2 of the decree, necessary to effectively unlock the funds: many applications, while being admitted, are ‘incomplete’ in the municipal competence section (the so-called Model C1).
“I appeal to the owners of Ibleo companies, but not only, and to their consultants: check if your application is complete with the stamp and protocol of the Municipality. Specifically, Appendix 1 – In case of flooding event must be completed.”
Companies can proceed in two ways:
- Direct acquisition: the applicant can go to the competent municipal offices for the application of the stamp and protocol, then sending all documentation via PEC to the address contributiciclonefrana@pec.irfis.it.
- Indirect acquisition: wait for the Department of Productive Activities to forward the documentation to the Municipalities, which will subsequently provide formal return.
“I recommend the path of direct transmission to speed up the process – concludes the president of the I Commission of Affairs –. Politics has done its part by allocating resources and for this, I want to emphasize the excellent work done by Councillor Tamajo and General Director Cartabellotta. However, we must accelerate on the still pending practices because they are incomplete.
