Scicli, brush clearing has begun across the entire municipal territory

For several days, mowing interventions, both mechanical and manual, and pruning have been taking place progressively throughout the entire municipal territory of Scicli and the hamlets.

The operations began after urgent work was carried out along the coast, where it was necessary to restore the decorum and full usability of the beaches following the passage of cyclone Harry, which deposited large amounts of debris on the coast, particularly reeds and plant material.

Subsequently, attention focused on the hamlet of Donnalucata, also in view of the Feast of Saint Joseph and the traditional Cuttlefish Festival, events that attract numerous visitors and for which it was deemed appropriate to ensure adequate conditions of urban order.

The teams are currently engaged in the town center of Scicli and will continue according to a schedule that will gradually cover all areas of the municipal territory.

The municipal administration of Scicli finally expresses its gratitude to the Free Municipal Consortium of Ragusa, which in the same weeks has initiated the relevant interventions along the provincial roads, contributing to improving the overall appearance and safety of the road network.
