The fatal crash in the Madonna dell'Aiuto area, there is a suspect.

There is a suspect in the investigation stemming from the tragic car accident that occurred in the evening hours of Friday, March 6, along the state road 122, in the Madonna dell'Aiuto area, in the territory of Canicattì, near a gas station. Officers from the Agrigento Traffic Police have reported, in a state of freedom, to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Agrigento, a forty-five-year-old from Canicattì, for the alleged crimes of vehicular homicide, personal injury, and driving under the influence of alcohol.

The man was driving a four-wheel drive vehicle with a trailer for transporting horses, which, for reasons still under investigation, collided with the Fiat Punto driven by the retired truck driver Vincenzo Vigna, 75 years old, from Mussomeli, who died on impact after the terrible collision. Injured were the victim's son, who was in the passenger seat, and the driver of the four-wheel drive, who overturned on its side following the crash.
