The man who took the stage at the Franco Parenti Theater in Milan before Giorgia Meloni began her speech is from Catania, leaving the Prime Minister speechless for a few seconds. Orazio Maurizio Musumeci managed to bypass all types of security, approached Meloni, greeted her, handed her one of his books, and, with the microphone on, stated, with a more Tuscan than Sicilian accent: "I am waiting for Mattarella's resignation". The President of the Council was left speechless for a few seconds, then began her scheduled speech at the meeting "A reform that brings justice", on the topic of the referendum.

Musumeci - who on LinkedIn claims to have worked at Enel, lives in Pavia, and has previously worked in Livorno - ran as a candidate for the presidency of the Republic in 2013. The man, who was identified by the Digos after the incident, has also written a book titled "The Thirteenth President".
